Uzbekistan President Awards Coaches and Football Players

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has awarded the head coach and football players of the national team with the title of Pride of Uzbekistan for reaching the final stage of the World Cup for the first time.

Ravshan Irmatov, 1st Vice President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, was awarded the Order For Selfless Service, Idman.biz reports.

Members of the coaching staff were awarded the Order of Friendship, and some employees of the association were awarded the Glory medal.

The title Pride of Uzbekistan is traditionally awarded to winners of major international sports tournaments.
